"The Mirror of Immortality"

The definition of Mirror - a reflecting surface, used in viewing oneself.

     Let's get real.... just, who are you looking at? Are you gazing intently at Yashua's likeness, or at yourself in the mirror? The standard of perfection set by Yashua's character is where we should set the bar for our character.

- The Keys -
When you receive the keys to your rulership and you walk through that door, what do you expect to see on the other side?
The Garden of Eden?
A lush paradise such as Hawaii, with perfect people to govern?
Maybe you will find Harlem, New York; Liberty City in Miami or Compton in Los Angeles?
What if you open the door and it's the Sahara Desert or the Mojave Desert?

      You may be immortal, but the people you rule over will not be immortal. So, what are you going to do? What are you doing to prepare to receive the keys to your rulership?

      Are you hoping that Yashua snaps His fingers and make everybody sit down and get quiet and listen to you? How are you going to rule? What have you done to prepare yourself for this most important job?

     Look into the mirror of immortality. What do you see?
Are you ready? What are you doing to get ready?

     I think we are under a false belief, or even a disillusionment that we are going to have it easy for the next thousand years once we received our well done. It's as if we have the mentality that we did all the work on this side and now that we're in God's kingdom we can enjoy our retirement. Just put our feet in the beach sand, kick back and enjoy the view. NO, NO , and NO!!  We are in DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL learning how to be the real deal disciple. When we get our well done, we're going to the nations discipling those that haven't heard the truth of the kingdom.

     We are to be kings and priest for Yashua. We are to be an ACTIVE part of the rulership in His kingdom. We are to be royal representatives of Yahweh's kingdom. How can we be representatives if we don't know and live our faith?

     So, I say again, look into the mirror of immortality. What do you see? Do you see someone that's ready for rulership or do you see someone that's UNDER A DISILLUSION?


-SELF EVALUATION-
On a scale of 1-10:
Are you lazy in this life?
Do you put things off in this life and think you'll get to them later?
Do you love your enemy?
Do you love your neighbor?
Do you even love one another in this ecclesia?
Do you think more of the least of these in here than yourself or your family?
Are you sacrificing more for the least of these in here than for yourself or for your family?
Are you treating yourself to more of what the world has to offer, compare to how your treating the least of them in this ecclesia?
How are you with joy and peace?
How are you with becoming a peace maker?
Anybody can love their friend, but can you love your enemy?
Can you show them the same kindness as you would show your friend?

      Let me suggest that we need to take a hard look into the mirror of immortality. For this is our reasonable service to The Lord.

      I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:1- 2.

That's the REAL DEAL TEST to see if we're ready to rule.
DO WE LOVE?
You may not be ruling over people you know, but probably people you have never met and possibly your enemies.
How are we going to look in that mirror and say, "I'm ready?"

     We first start by learning to rule over our flesh, our internal dialog and our motives.

Ask these questions of yourself.....
1. Are you daily inventorying your internal and external reflection of Christ?
2. Christ was a wanted man, are you?
3. Are we daily renewing and transforming our minds in His truth?
4. What is it that allows a transformation to take place?
5.What has to happen for a transformation to occur?
6. What is the process of a transformation?

     I think we need a complete cultural change in our minds if we're ever going to become kings and priest of Yahweh. It doesn't say we're to be janitors and ditch diggers of Yahweh.
So why are we always settling for less?

     And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ Exodus 19:6

     But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.
Isaiah 61:6

     you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
I Peter 2:5

     and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 1:6

     And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:10


-ADDICTIONS-
Maybe I need to consider that if I haven't overcome my addictions in this life, that they're not going to magically disappear in the next life.

Here are some addictions that we have a fix for.....
Lying
Gossiping
Drunkenness
Drugs
Pornography
Verbal abuse
Physical abuse
Wrong motives
Emotional dependence
And the list goes on......

     These mountains of addiction can be moved and thrown into the sea if we have the faith of a mustard seed.

     So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Matthew 17:20, 21

      For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Mark 11:23, 24


-THOUGHTS OF AN OLD MAN-
Here are some questions for our generation?
1. Do we really believe?
2. Are we just playing the religion game, just in case there really is a God that created everything?
3. Are we playing the religion game because we want to be good moral people and raise our children to be the same? Come on people, seriously.....
 4.We don't really believe do we, that there's an all powerful God that created everything?
5. A God that demands obedience, a God that's loving but always demands justice, do we?

Come on people, seriously.....
Look at the way we live.
Look at the way we approach Him.
Look at the way we fear Him.
Look at the way we love Him.
Look at the way we obey all His commands.
We don't really believe, do we?
Seriously, look at the other gods we serve; money, fame, drugs, pornography, and most importantly...self.

     This sounds like the rambling thoughts of a mad man, or are they?
IF THERE is anyone that still believes, THEY have chosen to put Yahweh on the level of a mediocre magician.

     SO I SAY AGAIN, we don't really believe, do we? WHAT will happen to this generation? WHAT will happen to these people? WE DON'T REALLY BELIEVE!! DO WE? Sounds like this could have been the internal dialog of Noah before the flood 2468-2348 - BC, or could it be Noah's internal dialog if he were alive today?

LOVE ONE ANOTHER......
I'm  commanded to love one another.
Loving someone doesn't mean you have to like or approve of what they're doing.
But, you can still love them where they're at. Yashua healed the sick because he had compassion for them, he was willing, and he loved them. But, then he said, go and sin no more. He loved them but he didn't like or approve of what they were doing.

     A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34, 35

     Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
I John 4:7-11

     By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
I John 5:2- 3

     People have said to me, you just don't understand what I'm going through. You just can't relate.
You're right. Maybe sometimes I can't relate to you because you're  still clinging to the world and I'm separating myself from the world.

     For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.” II Corinthians 6:16-18

     We have an opportunity to be Kings and Priest of the one true God. Sons and daughters of Yahweh. We don't have time for our petite baby ways.
We need a thinking change or a diaper change. We need to stop saying, that's just my personality, THAT'S JUST HOW I AM. No, you're nothing like I AM, but you could be and you need to be. Exodus 3:14

     WHAT do you think could possibly happen if we truly said I'm all in? If we truly developed a character that imitated Yashua and then we were all in, what do you think would happen?

      Listen closely and I will tell you what will happen. A great awakening will take place in the minds and hearts of people in every nation. Yet we are waiting for someone else to do it. And Yahweh is waiting for His columns to become the real deal, sons and daughters, future kings and priests that will rule and reign with His son Yashua. Sons and daughters that, by becoming His character, will join as lintels and become load bearing support that not only the house, but the kingdom may be built upon. Through them, those columns and lintels, Yahweh will reveal His glory to the earth.
We are supposed to be like Him... Yashua.

So I have questions:
1. Why are we not about our Father's business?
2. As if our life depended on it, why are we not doing all that we can to prepare to be Kings and Priests?
3. Do we really think we can have the world and His kingdom?

      We need to look STEADILY and SOBERLY into the mirror of immortality and ask ourselves, "Are we prepared to do whatever it takes to be KINGS and PRIESTS, or are we just pretenders?"
It all starts with the person in the mirror that you have fixed your gaze on.
