Is Your Faith a Mirage?

Untested faith isn't faith, it's only a mirage. Something illusory, without substance or reality.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Why is it when Yahweh is silent we immediately assume He has abandoned us? We need to put ourselves in a position so Yahweh can trust us with His silence so we can allow Him to take His immortal/holy character and saturate it into our mortal bodies. His silence is meant to develop and strengthen our spiritual endurance without us demanding another sign or wonder.
We have developed in our relationship with Yahweh a spiritual fast food mentality.
We want it when we want it, and that means NOW. We have developed an attitude of spiritual impatience.

Yashua said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

When you feel that Yahweh is silent in your life, that is when He is probably the closest to you.
We want Yahweh to wait on us and not us on Him.

Isaiah 30:18
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Psalms 33:20-22
Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.

James 5:11
Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

II Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The key is this - you will never know that He is there if your focus is on YOU.
